New Life Community is all about Convergence, because we see the unseen in our community. There are people that are passed by, walked around, completely ignored, and just passed off to social services for help; these are the very ones New Life Community is passionate about loving- this is who we are. New Life Community has always been about partnering to accomplish the vision that God has given, because we have seen the powerful impact of this kind of communal effort. We accomplish ministry through partnering with other passionate, called, gifted, and generous partners—a collective of individuals, businesses, churches, and community organizations all coming together for the purpose of community transformation.

The NLC building itself is a place of Convergence. Recovery, mentoring, counseling, youth development, student ministry and education are happening each and every day of the week at NLC. Families that have been homeless are homed with a team of people wrapped around them cheering them on. Folks without transportation earn bikes that have been rebuilt, made safe so they can get to work. Families moving out of our local shelters are loved with furniture, household goods, and dignity. And in the past decade over 26,000 people have been served breakfast by hundreds of people Converging at the Breakfast Table.

No one organization can do everything, but we’ve found that together we can impact our community by building better bridges that produce transformation, healing, and hope. Our Convergence network is an alliance of  community leaders, business owners, and individuals who feel compelled to invest together with a vision for a healthy community that enables human flourishing across the board. Through mutual cooperation, and investment of time, talents and treasure, we work to help people navigate every next step whether spiritual or practical (because most of the time they overlap anyway). We believe that we are better together. By leveraging our strengths and pursuing shared objectives, we together work to profoundly impact lives. As we continue this collaborative journey, our collective efforts will undoubtedly drive positive change, foster unity, and instill purpose within our community.
