Starting over can feel stressful and disorienting, so we work to try and make this part of the process as easy as possible. LifeStyle helps on the furnishing side with the big furniture items, while the Marketplace helps by providing both the means and the opportunity to select necessities and all the little extras that help make everything feel special and good. Things like artwork, decorative wares, pots, pans, dishware, bedding, and the like can be expensive and hard to source, but we’ve got that covered!
The Marketplace is part of our LifeStyle referral program, but also an efficient way to keep things moving. It primarily serves as the finishing end for referred families working through the InTake process, which means this does not regularly function as a thrift shop. However, we will periodically open The Marketplace to clear extra and unique pieces to make room for the more functional items needed for setting up a new home.
We are happy to receive donations of gently used household items and appliances, but no electronics. You can reach out to InTake and they will help you determine the next steps for drop off.
