Tim and his wife, Roxanne, come to us from California, where Tim served as both a Case Manager and Chaplain, ministering to individuals experiencing homelessness and those in addiction recovery. He was an Ordained Pastor with the Bay Area Rescue Mission and the Church of the Open Door International near San Francisco.
During his time in California, Tim led discipleship for students in a one-year recovery program, teaching life-giving topics such as Anger Management and Boundaries to both men and women. His passion for walking alongside people—both one-on-one and in group settings—has been a driving force in his ministry. That same passion ultimately led Tim and Roxanne to feel called to serve in children and youth ministry together.
Outside of church, Tim enjoys playing board games and strategy games with family and friends. He and Roxanne love visiting family in nearby Williamsport, where their son Brandon and their grandchildren live. Tim’s hobbies include reading and researching subjects like physics, military science, and history. He also enjoys weightlifting at the local YMCA, exploring new bookstores and restaurants, and visiting museums and historical landmarks.
Tim is passionate about encouraging others and helping them take the next step in their journey with Jesus. He seeks the guidance of the Holy Spirit daily and desires to meet people right where they are—with grace, hope, and truth.
